01Who is responsible for your information
Aurex Payments is the controller of personal information collected through this website. Our registered address and contact details are set out on the Contact page.
For privacy questions, or to exercise any of the rights described below, contact [PRIVACY CONTACT EMAIL]. Where required, our data-protection representative is [REPRESENTATIVE NAME AND ADDRESS].
02Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly and a limited amount collected automatically.
- Contact details: name, business email, telephone number and preferred contact method
- Business details: company name, website, country of incorporation, owner country of residence and industry
- Processing information: monthly volume, average transaction size, current processor, processing history, chargeback ratio, recurring-billing use and customer locations
- Free-text information you choose to include in the additional-information or message fields
- Documents you upload, which may include identity documents, incorporation records, proof of address, processing statements, banking confirmation, product information and licences
- Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, and pages visited, collected in server logs and, where you consent, by analytics
03Special categories and sensitive documents
Identity documents and financial records are sensitive. We ask you to send only what is necessary, and we do not ask for full payment-card numbers, complete bank credentials or passwords.
Where uploads are enabled, documents are held in [DOCUMENT STORAGE LOCATION AND PROVIDER] with encryption in transit and at rest, access restricted to personnel who need it, and retention limited as described below. If your requirements demand a higher standard of handling, ask us for a secure transfer channel instead of using the web form.
04Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use personal information for the purposes below.
- To respond to enquiries and provide the services you request — performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before entering one
- To assess a business and prepare a processing application — legitimate interests in providing the service you asked for
- To submit applications to processing and underwriting providers, with your knowledge — performance of a contract
- To meet legal, regulatory, anti-money-laundering and record-keeping obligations — legal obligation
- To secure the website and prevent abuse — legitimate interests
- To measure website use — consent, where analytics cookies are accepted
06International transfers
We operate across United States, Canada and Europe, so information may be transferred outside the country where it was collected. Where that happens, we rely on [TRANSFER MECHANISM — e.g. standard contractual clauses, adequacy decision] and take steps to ensure an appropriate level of protection.
07How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not proceed are retained for [RETENTION PERIOD] and then deleted. Application records and supporting documents are retained for [RETENTION PERIOD], or longer where a legal or regulatory obligation requires it.
You may ask us to delete documents earlier, and we will do so unless we are required to retain them.
08Your rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to access the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, receive a portable copy, and withdraw consent where consent is the basis we rely on.
To make a request, contact [PRIVACY CONTACT EMAIL]. We may need to verify your identity. If you are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your local supervisory authority — in [JURISDICTION], that is [SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY].
09Security
We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the information we hold, including encryption in transit, restricted access, and logging. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted over the internet.
11Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above, and where required we will seek fresh consent.
General disclosure
