How It Works

From First Enquiry to Live Processing

A structured process from first enquiry to live processing, with a clear explanation at every stage of what happens next and who decides.

The four steps

  1. Submit Your Information
  2. Business Review
  3. Processing Options
  4. Underwriting and Integration

We do not publish a fixed timeline for these stages. Duration depends on the provider, the category and how complete the file is.

How It Works

Four Steps, No Guesswork

A structured process from first enquiry to live processing, with a clear explanation at every stage of what happens next and who decides.

  1. Step 01: Submit Your Information

The merchant provides information about the business, ownership, products, website, volume, processing history, and current requirements.

The application form collects everything an underwriter typically asks for in a first pass. The more complete it is, the fewer rounds of back-and-forth follow.

If something is unclear or unavailable, say so in the notes field rather than leaving it blank — a gap with an explanation is easier to work with than a gap without one.

  2. Step 02: Business Review

Our team reviews the industry, region, customer base, fulfilment model, chargebacks, refund policies, and technical setup.

We look at the business the way an underwriter will: what is being sold, to whom, how it is delivered, what happens when a customer wants a refund, and what the dispute history shows.

This is also where we flag anything on the website or in the policies that is likely to trigger a question, so it can be addressed before submission rather than after a decline.

  3. Step 03: Processing Options

We identify suitable processing routes and explain the required documents, expected terms, and next steps.

You get a plain explanation of which routes are realistic for your business, what each one will want to see, and where the likely conditions sit — reserves, caps, settlement timing.

If we do not think a route is realistic, we say that too. An honest no is more useful than a submission that wastes three weeks.

  4. Step 04: Underwriting and Integration

The application is submitted for underwriting. Once approved, the merchant receives integration instructions and onboarding assistance.

We track the file through underwriting, respond to information requests, and keep you updated on where it stands.

After approval, we coordinate the gateway connection, test the transaction paths with your developer, and stay available once you are live.

Who decides

All approvals, pricing, reserve requirements, settlement schedules and account terms are determined by the applicable processor, acquiring institution, gateway or underwriting provider. Nothing on this website is an offer, a guarantee of approval, or a commitment to specific terms.

Before step one

What You Can Control

You cannot control an underwriting decision. You can control how complete, consistent and verifiable your file is — and that is usually what separates a smooth review from a slow one.

  • Have the standard document file assembled before you start — it removes the most common source of delay.
  • Make sure the website shows contact details, refund and cancellation terms, and a clear description of what is being sold.
  • Be candid about processing history, prior closures and dispute ratios. Underwriters usually find out anyway, and an explained problem is workable.
  • Confirm who your beneficial owners are and that identification documents are current.
  • Know your actual numbers: monthly volume, average ticket, refund rate and dispute rate.

The standard document file

  • Government identification for each beneficial owner
  • Incorporation or business-registration documents
  • Proof of business address
  • Recent processing statements, where available
  • Bank letter or void cheque
  • Product or service information

How documents are handled

Please do not attach full payment-card numbers, complete bank credentials or passwords. In production, sensitive identity documents require encrypted storage at rest and in transit, restricted role-based access, a documented retention and deletion schedule, an audit trail, and a published privacy policy describing the lawful basis for processing. If your compliance requirements exceed what a web form should carry, ask us for a secure transfer link instead of uploading here.

Who decides

All approvals, pricing, reserve requirements, settlement schedules and account terms are determined by the applicable processor, acquiring institution, gateway or underwriting provider. Nothing on this website is an offer, a guarantee of approval, or a commitment to specific terms.

Questions About the Process

Straight answers, including where the honest answer is “that depends on the underwriter”.

Submitting a form does not guarantee approval and does not create a contractual relationship. It begins a review conversation so we can explain the options that may be available to your business.
